 My brother in-law got married this weekend and it was the perfect occasion to wear this pretty Alice+Olivia sequined peplum dress. I found it on Ebay about a year ago and I've been so excited to wear it. I was drawn to the olive color, festive look, and the fact that it was a peplum dress! I tried to compliment the sequins on the bust with different metals in my accessories; a pair of metallic t-strap pumps that are very YSL-esque and chic, a silver cuff and clutch, and pretty darker silver earrings.

The wedding was such a gorgeous event and I'm blessed to have such a lovely new sister!

Sorry for my lack of posting, I've been so busy lately. 

I fell in love with this blouse the moment I saw it: it's a beautiful chiffon material and has lovely mint polka dots all over it. I especially love the shoulder cut outs; I feel so feminine wearing this blouse :)

It was almost 80 degrees out yesterday...definitely a white pants day! I had some work to get done so I decided to do it poolside-best decision EVER.  So relaxing.

I had a class field trip to the Asian Art Museum in the city today and figured it was the perfect day to wear this lovely hat! I had been looking for a floppy hat this season and they were either too expensive or too massive; I came across this beauty at Ross and couldn't resist the leopard accent and the $6 price tag. It was definitely worth the wait :)

Today was sunny and warm so I opted for a bright blouse and a neon belt. The top is actually a PJ top/bathing suit coverup- but I prefer to wear it as a blouse :)  It's probably one of my favorite shirts ever: it's seafoam and has skulls...I adore both! I found this belt while thrifting last week and was super excited because I'm crazy about neons and it was only $2. Hope your week is great so far.

While doing my usual thrifting, I discovered these amazing pumps for only $6! I've been wanting a pair of pointy toed pumps and these were perfect. I especially like the smaller heel because I can wear them to school. I decided to be cliche and wear red for Valentine's Day, mainly because of these heels. I added my chunky gold necklace, skinny jeans, and a bright red blouse to finish the look.

My Valentine's Day consisted of a day full of classes with a coffee date snuck in between :)

NY Fashion Week Favorites

New York Fashion Week 2012 was full of gorgeous gowns, beautiful flowy fabrics, impeccable details and amazing colors from every hue. I adored the pops of bright colors coming down the runway, especially the neons.
