Splendid Top: ℅ Marshalls
Jbrand Wax-coated Jeans: Marshalls
Steve Madden Heels: Thrifted ($5)

I love every little thing about this vibrant blouse.
I've worn it countless times and still love as much as I did when I first picked it out. Only very recently did I realize it's almost identical to the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.

I was always terrified of that cat, but it doesn't change my mind about this beautiful top. I barely fit in my wax-coated jeans, so I squeezed in another wear before I retire them for a few months.

Today marks 26 weeks for our little babe. We're thrilled and seriously can't wait to meet him. It's amazing how we love this little guy so much and we haven't even met him yet!
I have a fabulous giveaway coming up for all the expecting mamas out there. And if you're not expecting, you can still enter! More on that next week :)

Printed Chambray

Friday, January 17, 2014

Chambray: ℅ Marshalls
Dress: H&M
Sam Edelman Booties: Marshalls
Bag: TJMaxx
Oia Jules Necklace: ℅ 9th & Elm

I mentioned a few weeks back, that I was sent two necklaces from 9th & Elm. Well, this beauty I'm wearing is the second one! Once Elizabeth (Oia Jules designer) released this style, I fell in love. And I fell hard. The vibrant agate slices paired with the chunky gold chain made for a stunning statement piece. I wanted the necklace to take center stage in this outfit, so I kept everything else very simple. Another item I'm crazy about is my new chambray from Marshalls. I can't get enough of the subtle print; in my opinion, it really takes the top to a whole new level.

Today marks 25 weeks for my pregnancy and I'm still loving every second of it…even after my glucose test :) (which actually tasted pretty good!)

I hope you all enjoy your weekend and thank you again for reading.

Blue Stripes

Saturday, January 11, 2014

BB Dakota Jacket: Plato's Closet
Dress: Plato's Closet ($8)
Franco Sarto Boots: Plato's Closet ($15)
Bag: Thrifted
Necklace: Forever 21

These photos were from yesterday when it was a bit warmer. I'm currently bundled up, sipping hot tea, with Peter Bradley Adams on Pandora. I have no complaints though! Cozy days are sometimes the best remedy for a busy schedule.
These boots were purchased at Plato's Closet because they were so similar to the 50/50 boots by Stuart Weitzman. I've always loved the sleek over-the-knee style, but I would never spend the hefty price tag that came along with it. I'm pretty short so I don't normally gravitate towards over-the-knee boots, so I opted for a short dress to lengthen my legs a bit. I chose this simple blue dress, an edgier jacket, and a glitzy statement necklace for a dressier outfit. I hit the 24 week mark yesterday, so that definitely needed to be celebrated with a cute outfit!
I have a fun YouTube video in the works, so I can't wait to share it with you all next week!

Enjoy your weekend.

Jeweled Statement Necklace

Friday, January 3, 2014

Blouse: Thrifted ($3)
Rag & Bone Jeans: Plato's Closet ($20)
Heels: Plato's Closet
DIY Clutch
Oia Jules Necklace: ℅ 9th & Elm

How gorgeous is the Oia Jules necklace I'm wearing?!
When 9th & Elm contacted me about their site-I was thrilled! 9th & Elm features different fashion and accessories from handmade and independent designers for up to 60% off. When I checked out the site there was a featured event showcasing one of my favorite jewelry lines- Oia Jules. I eagerly picked out two beautiful statement necklaces and was blown away when I received them in the mail. Sometimes they say things are too good to be true, but 9th & Elm and Oia Jules really delivered on this one!

I created this bag to finish my look. I felt like the leopard really pulled all of my pieces together, making a more cohesive look. I picked up this fabric (on clearance) at my local Joann's for $6 a yard and a zipper for $2. In the end, this chic clutch cost less than $3.
